Fans Short Cable

Also if I used a extension, will the temperature reading be accurate?

Cant see why they wouldn't be accurate still? and get whichever extension cable you like mate. didnt realise akasa did them. just an extension cable any will do. just bitfenix come in nice colours to suit the rest of your case
