Hi, I was watching this programme the other week called Sure Fans Unite (or is it United) it's on BBC2 (I think) at around midnight and there was this thing about an English chap who is going to play for Trinidad & Tobago in this years World Cup. Apparently he is the first white player in the team for over 60 years. Both his parents are English/white but his mother was born in Trinidad, so my question is, how is he playing for them? Can you play for the country where one of your parents were born despite not being born there yourself? I thought you would have to be born in the country in order to play for them.
He plays for some low league club in England, but T&T wouldn't have qualified without him.
