a bit of advice im currently running a h115I platinum 2 x 140ml pro fans and 1 x 120 ml pro fan in a phanteks p400s case. I've just brought the Lian Li XL Rog Dynamic case and was wandering am I best adding an additional 3 x 120 ml pro fand or do the ll120 fans ? also how would you guys set this layout up ?

Best way to find out is build in the new case and go from there mate.

I'm in the same situation and decided to do that so I can precisely measure the space left and decide whether adding a fan in different areas will actually be of benefit, for example base case fan airflow might be blocked by Pci-e cards.

Years ago a wrote up a basic guide about how airflow works and how to optimize case airflow. It's for tower case with front to back airflow, but basics are the same for all cases. Not sure if it will help but here is link to it:
