Hi
I am planning on running a Fantasy Football League in our local for the new season but really could do with a spreadsheet which will do the business when it comes to working out the team scores. I have been looking all over and even prepared to pay for something but had no luck. If anyone has one or is planning on doing one for the forthcoming season I would be interested.
Cheers

Easiest thing would be to get everyone on the official premier league one, create a league and get everyone to join, then it's all done online and you don't really have to do anything.

Yeah exactly what StewartMG says, it'll take an hour at best even creating false e-mail accounts if need be and you can just print off the mini-league standings each week. Ease ++++

Hey guys had a look at a couple of those sites but wont work for what we want to do. Instead of each person just picking a team from a list of players we plan to have an auction of the players. Basically we get everyone together one evening and each manager will have say 60m and then they pick a player they want to buy and the auction starts. This way only one manager will get for example Rooney. The IT dept at a place I worked at about 18 years ago used to run Fastasy Football this way and used to be a good laugh as we have trading between managers etc.

In that case you'll just have to do it manually out of the sun newspaper each week.

My mates dad does the same thing and someone manually works it all out each week

Yeah just join the official premier league one, create a leave called Overclockers or whatever.....jobs a gudden

Aha, it woudl appear the perfect one for you is the Tmes fantasy football one. All teams get each player only once. And selection of players can be automated online or as you seem to prefer, done in person with all of you present. I am pretty sure they even give you something to print out from the site.

TFF is also a lot more detailed in terms of stats and I do find it better if you like a bit of number crunching and a little less reliance of luck.

The only downside is that there is no cash limit but the fact that each Prem player goes to a single team tends to make this a non-issue. Each team does end up with a few great players, a few average ones and a few poor ones.

Do you mean something like this?

It is an auction type game you have a master list and have a maximum bid for each player, and whichever team bids the highest wins that player for the week. It is automated so you can't change the bid once it begins. You can win money and pick the number of teams in the league.
