I didn't realise Carragher suffered a collapsed lung, nasty.

It says Gerrard is 'doubtful' for the Derby game on the FPL website. I'd leave it until the last minute to sub him.

Risky. With Owen pretty much back I'd bet on Martins starting on the bench this weekend. Especially if the reports of him throwing a strop yesterday are correct.

My only change this week will probably be bringing Lita in (he's back now) in place of Aliadiere (who has been pretty poor so far). I'm waiting until the transfer window shuts just incase though (have Anelka in my team :p).

With a bit of luck he'll sign for someone else by the close of the transfer window but I still think he'll start at least the next game. I'm getting tempted to play my wildcard after the transfer window does close depending on a few things.
 
I really hope Gerrard starts. Once again I have a player that might not start in my team. Im wasting too many points on transfers.
 
Well Ive got till saturday 11.30am to choose my team.

So hopefully by then there would be talk whether he will start or he would'nt start.
 
Yea, thats what Ive done.

If he is'nt playing, I could just sub in anyway and leave him in my team for gameweek 6.

Also got some money left to buy back Ronaldo after this gameweek.
 
Was talking with the other ff players in work today, and we came up with a few hypothetical questions... Would be interested if anyone knew the answers...

Okay, say you have a player in your squad from team A. Before the transfer window closes, said player is sold to team B. But you laready have three players from team B in your squad... What happens?

And what if one of your players is sold to a foreign club before the window closes? Naturally you'll have to find another player, but would you be forced to use that week's free transfer to do so?

As I say, just hypothetical wonderings :)
 
Ive already had to use my transfer for Carra so im just going to hope that Gerrard does play and if not he'll be subbed by Smertin :rolleyes:

1 - You would then have 4 players from the same club which would be fine in this case. If you transferred one out, you couldn't then have 4 from that club again though.

2 - You would have to transfer them and it would cost you either your free transfer or 4 points if you already used your free one.
