Does anyone know when the new season will start? The site just says July. I'm itching to start my team.

I haven't done a league with OCuk before. Is there going to be one or shall I use this thread to create one?

I've done the past couple of seasons but you're more than welcome to do it this year if you want.

No idea when it'll start but it should be any day now

Oh right, I don't mind. I was just wondering. I wouldn't be too good at starting one as I have only played one season.

It usually starts a month or so before the season.

As for the league, all leagues rollover, so Tom84 should still be the admin of this season's league, and everyone who was in it last season will automatically be subscribed again, so best to leave it like that.

It shouldn't bee too long. First kick off the season starts on the 14th Aug right? So we're like a month away from it. Give it a few days.

They sent me an e-mail saying it starts mid July and I have read that they are just sorting minor browser issues with the website. I expect it could open very soon now.

Lookout for a few new rules in the game this season.

I'd like to see mid-game transfers like the fantasy World Cup. That is, if someone in your team did rubbish on the Saturday then you can sub them out for someone on your bench who's playing on the Sunday, taking a risk that they'll do better. Made it a bit more interactive over the weekends.

Think I'm gonna take this more seriously this year. Last year I got fed up after a month or two and just stopped playing.

Well i always join up to this one done last 2 OcUK leagues failed in both but in mini leagues i do with work friends i do okay even won it this year, My downfaul is always far too many transfers

I can't remember how it works, does it use "real" money or a points system for transfer?

I think each team are given £100m and you have to buy players with that.

Every week you can make transfers and players' prices will alter according to how popular they are at the time. Each transfer takes 4 points off of your total for the next week (not the same as the money) although you get one free transfer a week and two wildcards a season.

I am enjoying the lie-ins on a saturday....getting up early to do the team became a ritual. Finished 4th in OC league last year...hoping to take the prize home this year.

I'd like them to revert back the captain ruling so it doesn't automatically change. Maybe select a captain and vice-captain. Too many schmucks getting lucky with the way it was last year.

It wasn't like that last season though because player values changed 'on-the-fly' midweek, which meant it was better to do certain transfers on Sunday evening/Monday morning before their price increased (or equally before your sell decreased).

I won my friend's league last season by being an uber good investor. My team value at the end was 110mil or something so I could field a much stronger team in the final weeks.

For the previous two years the sign up has been available from the first Friday of July. Wondering why it's not up yet :s

For the past two years the game hasn't changed at all either. Probably just ironing out some coding changes.

If they don't show you how many points your subs have/would have scored without hovering over them then I'm going to flip
