I usually play shooters and have never tried a Fantasy type game. I see there are a few available for the PS4.

What would you recommend that isn't too labourious and would be quite straight forwards to play as a game that requires a lot of grinding to level up wouldn't be ideal for me as I wouldn't have the time fore it.

When you say Fantasy style, do you just a Final Fantasy game or any in that kind of style (the JRPG genre)?

All games like that will involve some form of grinding at one point or another just to save frustration later on, but for the most part it's not so bad if you don't keep skipping battles all the time. My personal favourites are MagnaCarta 2 and Lost Odyssey. The former is a bit tricky to find but very much worth it, and the later is probably the best JRPG on the 360.

I managed to do Diablo III with no grinding - exploring, yes - but no repetition of things. You can adjust the difficulty anyway so if you're struggling you make things easier.

Second Diablo. Can get involved with the story as much as you want or just mindless fun killing. (The latter my preference atm as I enjoy beat em ups)

Thanks for suggestions, I'm trying to make up my mind between Diablo 2, Dragon Age, Bloodborne and Dark Souls!!!

Out of your suggestions, Bloodborne and Dark Souls are insanely hard. But extremely satisfying. I believe I read that 3% of Beta Testers were able to actually finish Bloodborne. Which is actually quite appealing to myself.

Dragon Age would be the most laid back of those games if that's what you're looking for. Great story, No real need to grind. Even if you lose, you can generally go back and win by just changing strategy.

Diablo 2 is just a classic, as is Diablo 1. Never played 3.

By the sound of things its between Diablo 2 and Dragon Age for me!

Someone on here completed bloodborne in a week and he's not of those plays 24/7 types neither.

He did say he somehow missed out 50% of the bosses though. So his choice now was to go back and re-do it all again just on a harder level setting.

Dragon Age is by far my favourite console game of recent times. It's very laid back but still a challenge especially on nightmare. My main gripe is changing armour etc on the whole party and figuring out what to craft for who is quite laborious. I'm on my second play through and by picking a different class, party members and paths on main quests it is different enough to keep interesting. Definitely recommended by me!

Play all of Dragon Age, so start with origins, loads of fun :D .

That's what I've been doing. Finished Origins last night. It was the same with Mass Effect - took me several tries to get in to it but this last week it just clicked. Another masterpiece from Bioware. It certainly answered a lot of questions I had from playing Inquisition first.
