FAO BADDASS

Hi. Probably not I'm afraid. Going to try and review some more general monitors like some of the new Dells if I can as have done too many gaming screens of late :)

Ps I expect it will be fairly comparable in performance to the LG 34UM95 that I have reviewed as likely to be the same, or very similar panel

It's the same panel being used so yes. Actually making use of it is another matter though as you'd need an end to end 10 bit workflow which is expensive and difficult to achieve still. You'd need a 10 bit capable graphics card for a start which are high end specific for professional type uses. I wouldn't worry about it at all, doesn't really make any difference for normal users :)

where do you recommend buying a kettle lead for a monitor from?

i don't want some chinese crap that hasn't passed testing and could potentially blow up.

amazon is fine but none of the sellers look that great. i have prime if that helps.

lol what, you are looking for a kettle lead?

Get one from OCuk for around £2. Or better yet ask a friend, most people have a few lying around. Or are you one of these people who think that paying £50 for a power lead is going to improve picture quality?

Why would a power lead improve PQ?

All I want is a safe power lead. I was looking on amazon and i thought at £6 they were overpriced. If ocuk sell them for £2 I'll buy from there.

thanks

Tbf dude, they are ALL made in China now :D

maybe made in china is the wrong word. i want one that has been made to UK standards and safety regulations.

in the past i had a PSU blow up on me for LED BIAS lighting. it was a cheap ebay kit from china. i was lucky i was home when it happened as there was a loud explosion and smoke. the house could have caught fire.

i see ocuk sell them for £3 which is much cheaper than amazon. so i'll go with them.
