Hi guys, need some urgent help. Have just spent £500 upgrading my PC, all parts bought from OCuk.

I unpacked my boxes and made sure all my bits were there, they were... so i start building PC, attach the monster of a heatsink and then wack in my lovely looking Connect3D X1900XT 512MB GFX card... HMMMMM PROBLEM TIME ... my apparently "INCLUDED" power cable for the card is not in the box. Judging by the connector on the card its has a 6pin connector. I powered the pc on just incase it would work anyway ... nope no video signal. My nice shiny bits have now been replaced with my old dusty bits and im running on my old rig now.

The only cables that were supplied with my card were 4 video cables of various types. Does anyone have a picture of what this 6 pin power cable looks like? Im proper peeved!!

Also my box wasnt sealed with tape or anything, is this normal? I work with various brand new boxed items from various companies IBM, HP and Compaq and there products are always sealed by the appropiate "IBM" "HP" or "COMPAQ" tape to show they're brand new ...

Anyway if someone could confirm im meant to have a power cable and a pic, that would be great!

^ I think you two are missing the point

The man is missing something that was specified as included and the box wasn't taped with manufacturer's tape.

Indeed !

Sorted now, mate has got a spare one.

Doesnt say anywhere on the product description that it comes with a cable...

Also it should be fairly obvious had the been tape which was removed (residue from the glue etc.), if theres no marks then chances are there wasnt any to begin with.

See here
Connection to the system power supply is required (adapter included)

Also states that on the back of the box. Anyway sorted now, thx for everyones help.
