Git!

Just been driving behind a (3.0) Z4 in rush hour down a dual carriageway and it was bloody quick! I want one.

Luckily he was getting people out of the way for us as he was doing a ton all the way complete with scanner :p

Made my journey time a bit shorter anyway! :p

Must have been a couple of seconds to get from 70 to 100 :)

If I was you i'd be out in your ma's all the time!

Radar detector

That's what I meant. Apologies.

I knew he had one as on the road before I passed him to turn left at the roundabout (he was stuck in the right hand lane going forward) and I did a u-turn and turned left again. :p

The detector was sat on the dash and not fixed to the car as some of you seem to believe.

For a while, yea. Then once you got used to it, your perception of normal performance adjusts and the 'omgwow' factor of it diminishes a tad as does your desire to spend every waking moment driving it.

So essentially if you want to enjoy it for as long as possible, it's a weekend car and you should drive something dull on the weekdays?

Also a problem with being young, and driving these types of cars early, means you need to upgrade to a better car to get the thrills again.. and then that will wear off and need a new car again.

At that rate you'd be looking at 911s by the time your 30-35. What do you upgrade to from that!

(had a few beers so i'm rabbitting!) :p

Ohh and I also seen a Passat CC the other day too and it looked bloody tremendous! :D

This needs to be added to the forum, sharpish.

There's a 2.8 with 230bhp 0-60 in 6 seconds for £30,000 new I think?

Or a 3.5, 280bhp, 0-60 in 5.5 seconds for a tad more.

Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Should be about the same as the Z4, if not then Fox will probably fill you in :)
