Can any one with the same keyboard do a little test for me please so I can see if I have a defective keyboard, or if it is a design fault. There is a what and a why to it, I will start with the what.
What I need is for some one to open up a text editor (Notepad will do fine) and press the number 5 key on the number pad very fast whilst looking at the text entered. Do the entries display consistant with the key presses, or does it stick now and again?.
As for the why, I'm playing a game on the PC that uses the number pad (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) but keep failing songs that I know I can full combo. I got this keyboard because the G15 has the 3 key rule on some of the numbers making it impossible to hit 4 and 5 keys at the same time. My friend's G11 didn't have this problem, but I could never full combo anything because his keyboard's tray as a part of the desk kept sliding causing me to miss the keys.
I've tried tweaking the repeat speed, repeta delay, updating the keyboard's software, different USB ports and even a total OS reinstall but alas, hit the keys too fast and it just dies.
