FAO new 350d owners

just looked on the box of my 350d, about to put it in the loft when i noticed a sticker saying free 256MB (sandisk) CF card - all you have to do is register the camera and sign up to canon image gateway.


so check your box if you've recently got a 350d and follow the destructions!

also 30d owners get a 512mb one you lucky people

apologies if you already knew this... but nobody told me

you may be lucky and get a 512, they ran out of 256 meg ones shortly after i got mine and everyone else got a 512 card

pah........256 or even the 512 meg cards are far too small. I've run out of space on my 4gb card once or twice.

Nice for a freebie though.

I got a 256mb one a couple of days ago for my 350D then quickly replaced with a Sandisk Extreme III 2gb one

It was good for a freebie but I have never used it as my high speed cards make it about as fast as my car racing a Ferrari.

I only got a 512 with my 5D

with RAW + JPEG that's a whole 19 shots

So I've used it in my 1841 Router instead (not that it needs anything over 64Mb)

I've just had mine through the post yesterday - I've got the 256 Mb one. Looks like they're back in stock. Trust my luck !
