[size=-1]where it says SLi upgradability too do you really expect to run an overclocked x2 and two 7900gt's from a 380W power supply? just a note for the overclockers team, if you can ill certainly eat my words

By upgradeability I think a PSU would go hand in hand with that.

then you could say that about any system then, you can upgrade system X to sli all you need is a new mobo, or you can upgrade system z to sli all you need is power supply, the thing is sum noob might try and shove another 7900gt in there and wonder why it doesnt work

It has the capeability to hold SLI with just a PSU change, not really that much. If someone is using SLI I hope they know what they are doing.

A shop person will probably be along shortly, so this should get a reply.

like i said that could be then said about ANY SYSTEM - i await for a technician's reply. lets be honest they made a boo boo i was just informing them so they could change it

A mobo change is a bit more than a PSU change, that's Yewen's point; ie a PSU change is simple :)

You are still changing the system though and you are left with a spare psu, changine mobo is just about as easy as changing a psu for me, to be called upgradeable to SLi there should really be no need to change any parts just stick in another 7900gt and off you go

i believe by "SLi upgradeability" they mean "it has the potential for SLi" ;)
your mobo is ready for SLi, but you'll need to buy some extra things before hand.

PSU is easy to change, unplug and plug in, the mobo takes a complete system rebuild and a psu change (or whats entailed.).

Huge difference between them, you are afterall adding a graphics card already, so you should be up to doing the other necissary modifications to make a SLI rig.

SLI is very high end, I see nothing wrong with the OcUK listing personally as it most certainly is not mis-leading, the system as it stands is SLI capeable, 6600gt's would work in it!

Change the PSU and you could stick anyhting in it, cooling is adequate aswell so by my books it is fine.

Yeah! What's going on with the nit-picking with OcUK lately!

It says "Upgradeable to SLI" It doesn't say "Upgradeable to SLI via adding another graphics card". To me all "Upgradeable to SLI" means that the motherboard is SLI ready and if i wanted to I could SLI since it requires no major hardware change (I.E. Motherboard)

hear, hear! Wouldn't be surprised if the rules start getting enforced a little more strongly soon to discourage it. They do say you agree not to criticise them and their policies on the forum etc. after all. :)
