Just a question regarding your headunit, and phone.

IIRC you said you used an imate JAM with your headunit, does yours auto connect? I've recently got an imate K-JAM (WM5) and I cannot get it to auto connect. I think the promlem may be down to not being able to discover the phone from the headunit, I have to add pair it on the phone.
If I manually connect the HU to the phone, it works fine, but won't auto connect.

Have you had or heard of a similar issue?

Cheers

My phone was not detected by the HU either, I had to pair the other way around, and as a result, everytime I get in the car, the stereo does NOT pick up the phone, however:

So long as I have the HU set as "use as headset" in my bluetooth settings, whenever I recieve or try to make a phonecall, the phone connects with the HU.

So not quite the same effect as with a "normal" phone, but I still don't have to manually connect each time.

Sorted, not just me then :)

Also (this might be specific to WM5), when I send contacts over to the device:
a) I have to send them over 1 at a time?
b) They don't appear correctly (names are not stored etc)

Did you have such an issue too? I'm going to try and send them over from another phone to see if that works.

Cheers :)
