FAO rg-Tom

I figured as he's a photographer there would be some problem with someone else using one of his photos! Unless of course he knows all about this and he's allowed them to use it/paid him to use it.

Looks legit to me (the site and photo locations). Odd how they've nicked a pic of Toms car when they've probably had at least one like it before they could have re-used and stated in the ad. Seems silly to advertise a car without having it in your possession first mind you but I see the "Car due in... pic for illustration" a lot.

I could, but I don't see the point. Although the Pistonheads ad omits the "pic for illustration" bit, their website doesn't. It's legit in that respect, but It's up to Tom whether he feels his work is being used for corporate gain and shouldn't be used or he should be paid for it.

Likely outcome is they'd just steal someone else's pic bit its not our call really.

Probably best that entirely unrelated parties don't get involved really. I'd imagine should he want to, tom can try and invoice for the use of his stock but having had some random person phone up beforehand saying 'oi, you're using my internet mates photo' wouldn't help the cause if he did want to try and pursue that.
