FAO: Seamaster planet ocean owners!!!

Over the past few days ive heard my Planet Ocean make a clunking sound as the date changes just before midnight :eek:

. ive had it since july and have never heard this until now! and as youd expect im slightly concerned :eek:

so does your Planet Ocean make a clunking sound? (it is fairly noticable - have heard it over typing and through my pillow)

you mind testing? (i did it by winding the time on to the next midnight change)

hope it doesnt require looking at!

happens about 2-3 mins before.

didn;t notice anything other bthen a click as the date changed

ran it from 6 mins to

will do it again just to be sure

was it a fairly loud click? you can just wind on with the crown, dont have to wait. - its just ive never heard it before so slightly concerned.

all I get is the sound of the date wheel clicking on one position , nothing louder than on any other watch I have and exactly at the point where the date changes

ok then - same as me. As i said, ive never heard it before so assumed something had gone wrong. i would expect some noise (with it being mechanical) but not quite that loud!
