I was having a bash at bigadv again and happened to have both rigs dump on consecutive days. I've switched back to SMP again as bigadv still needs a lot of maintenance and neither machine had any success with the new A3 bigadv WUs. I'm off back to work on Monday so I can't take the risk of running bigadv while I'm away. I've added the -bigadv flag to both SMP clients in case they get them working for Windows while I'm away
Back to normal now. HFM reporting about 75k-80k ppd. Keep checking your rear view mirror
Still got to watercool the blighters and then I can add the 4th card.
Go the shaders/mem at 1440/1675 at the moment, to get the same as a stock 480 I'd need to push the shaders up to 1580, not sure if I'd need to do the memory too, 1675 mem is stock for the GTX470, the 1440 on the shaders is a 200Mhz overclock that gave nearly a 3K boost in PPD.
Will be interesting balancing power/cooling/output with these, but I think that single rig with the 4 cards and A3-SMP will push around 70K on Folding.
Hehe, fair enough. I don't use it so much because the fees put me off - you don't lose anything by sticking it on the MM, even if you don't get as much for it.
I watched the video from the seti thread. The cards look so good with those blocks on. Would be good to see some pics of the system when you have it finished.
