Is there a freeware/small programme that will help me do the following?

I've got a 60 minute video and want to cut almost 200 individual clips from it as to make a 5 minute compilation video. Is there an easy way to do this?

I use Vegas and manually cutting out the clips would take forever.

Corel video studio will do just that, it's not free but there is a 30 day trial period with full functionality:

Camtasia studio 6 for basic things. I use it, it comes with a bunch of awesome tools like screen recorder etc.
