Hi guys,
A mate has all of a sudden started getting an error appear when he tries to load Far Cry 2.
It comes up with an error message that says 'desktop is not set to 32bit mode, unable to continue'
This is on the following hardware:
Phenom 9950
DFI LANPARTY DK 790GX-M2RS 790GX
ATi 4870
4GB Cruical Ballistix Tracer Red RAM
1x Seagate 160 (OS)
2x Seagate RAID 0 (Games)
For some reason as well he cannot run HL2 in 64bit mode (has had to create a shortcut on the desktop to run it in 32bit).
I have searched a load to see what is causing the problem with no luck and find it strange that i have no problems at all running any of the games alsio using Business 64bit.
Any help is much appreciated (havent used the official far cry 2 thread as it would no doubt get lost in it
