a lot of people do think that, and would be right to. The graphics being so jungle like and being made be Crytek it just seemed like Farcry 2 but with a differant storyline, content and the such. Although now this had been announced there isnt much doubt that Crysis isnt Farcry 2 anymore

Just hope they dont kill it to be honest. Really enjoyed Farcry and hope they give it jutice in the new game.

in the first game the gameplay was terrible, voice acting complete shnit, the hook was the gorgeous graphics.

i wont get fooled the second time.

Other than the graphics and physics of the cryengine far cry was a pretty crap game tbh.

Farcry was a good game even though it was ridiculously difficult and often was the cause of PC gaming tourette's. Just a bit worried about Farcry 2 if its a different development team behind it.
