Unless x1900xtx's have suddenly become Dx10 capable

What hardware do they develop on?

Is there some ultra-high end specialist cards with DX10 hardware out or something?

Yep

Just like when the new DX9 games came out and most of us were using GF4 Ti cards which were DX8 (the GF4 MX was only a DX7 card!)

This isn't Far Cry 2. Done by the same people (Crytek), but they've already confirmed it's not a sequel. From what I've read and seen it looks very promising, though I doubt my X800Pro would do too well with it.

If you didn't like far cry they I doubt you would like crysis. (same sort of game).

For me that screenshot isn't that amazing tbh. Some nasty textures (when its enlarged) and the guy in the shots looks awful. But seeing it in motion in those sort of shots will no doubt change my mind.

nope, i think crytek said EA were having nothing to do with the development of crysis. just the publishing of it

and that video on IGN is much clearer than the early videos, does look very good
