Far Cry 2 is an upcoming first person shooter published by Ubisoft and is the sequel to Far Cry. Crytek, developers of the original game, are not involved in the development of Far Cry 2. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were announced on 3rd January 2008, with a release date for the fiscal year ending March 2009. Far Cry 2 will be released for PC on March 25, 2008.

All Ubisoft have said is sometime during fiscal year 2009, which could be anytime between April 1st '08 to March 31st '09.

Correct.

Any other dates at this point are speculation.
Dont let that stop you visiting the Ubi Far Cry forums though, where we actually have Dev Team representation on the boards.
