This isn't majorly important but I've decided to get into Far Cry 3 again.
I actually own it as I got a code when I got a computer at OCUK years ago. It is for Uplay (now called Ubisoft Connect).
I have reinstalled it via the Ubisoft app and then added it to my Steam library by adding a "non-Steam" game. I was told that my achievements would sync over to Steam like Red Dead 2 did but it hasn't.
I am not sure what I have done wrong. I heard that you just open a Ubisoft game via Steam and it syncs everything. I have made sure to tick the setting: 'Remind me of account linking next time I launch a Steam game'. It does play though (although my Bluetooth mouse doesn't work with it unless I set it to "windowed" mode but that isn't too bad.
Would I need to purchase it on Steam for this to happen? If so, I'll wait for it to come down to a few quid. I just prefer to see the pictures in my Steam library! I know it is sad.
[EDIT] I have found out that you can manually add artwork to non-Steam games by right clicking them. Just seeing if I can find the Far Cry 3 background and that. Surely, there is a place for this?
