God what a ****'ing load of **** this game really is, not even worth the £20 i paid for it tbh. So fustratingly hard on the hardest level which im currently going through and i swear im about to break my controller because the of the utter stupidness this game is...

Im currently stuck on the level where you have to save that stupid bint Val, who thinks shes perfectly safe behind some cardboard boxes...women eh??:p. Anyways im at the cliff edge and i know have to snipe all the gunmen but FFS i can only get about 4 of them before Val dies. I mean ive been trying to get past this level for the past day or so and its really narking me off now because i cant seem to get past it.

So anyone whos played this POS game, have any clues or help as to get past this bit??. I mean come on, its ridiculous really..the game expects u to have lightening reflexes when the control system truly sucks on it ie using the sniper gun with the scope...well it just isnt precise unlike GRAW or Rainbow6.

Please help meeeeeeee before i smash another controller out of uncontrollable rage...either that or the game will die a sorry and sad death...

I didn't even complete the first section. I thought it was awful. Took 4 attempts to sell it on eBay too which says it all. Most 360 games sell first time on there!
 
Hehe yeh just having a look on the net for any help and all it offers is good luck as a lot of people were pretty shocked at how stupidly hard that part is.

Anyways ive had enough of it, its going back to where i got it from and trade it in for something else that isnt so stupidly hard.

Seriously id suggest anyone to stay away from this god awful tripe, it really is a stupidly terrible game for the 360...even if its £5 stay away from it if you value your health...
 
My old man dropped his copy off at mines at the weekend and told me i should try he as he really enjoyed it.....Now i dunno WTF to do after reading this thread :D

In seriousness, i'll give it a blast over the weekend ;)
 
You have to do it all headshots. Thereafter, you can complete most of the game simply by running past enemies...and complete it suprisingly quickly using these cheaty tactics.

A poorly designed game then?
 
Hated it.

The controls are laggy and poor and the savepoints badly spaced out.

Only thing it has going for it are the incredible ocean waves.

Take those out and it is dire. Some of the later levels are so hard even on easy mode you will feel like breaking something after dying for the 100th time then having to retrace your steps and repeat the same old actions because the savepoints are so far apart.

Ultimately yes, but there was some fun to be had. Running past the enemies without getting obliterated was actually a new game dynamic and quite fun!
 
Not played it on the 360 was very put off by the reviews, word of mouth and the lack of online assult and FFA.

I love it on the pc assult (AKA capture the flag) just keeps me coming back time and time again.

I guess its just one of those games you love it or hate it.

Shutokou Highway Battle X. The series is called Tokyo Highway Battle here, but I'm not sure if X was ever released here.

No probs bud was just intrigued, I remeber in the past theres been some really good shoot em ups released in Japan but they never made there way across to here and I really would like something of the R-Type elic for the 360.

Hoped it may be a similar game :)
 
I got fed up with the madness of playing on a hard difficulty and was rapidly getting bored. So I just put it on Rookie and sped through it. The baddies are nowhere near as good as the Trigens.

The only good thing about the game is the new feral abilities you get. If you had them in the original Far Cry that game would have got 10/10.

Quite liked the Evolution story though. The graphics looked pretty damn good in places.

Hehe which is what i have tried to do numerous times but i seem to run out of bullets and then go to re-load and even before i get set, Val dies:(. The problem is that the cheats dont really help out in that situation tbh.

Exactly and thats how i feel about the game, even playing on the easy level is fustrating to say the least. Yeh the gfx are amazing in some places but then it looks absolutely crap in other places. Like i said its a terrible game and id find it hard to recommend to anyone.

Only picked up the game thinking its got to be an easy 1000pts achievements but so far ive got only one poxy measly achievement. Which is the 100 headshot one and tbh after last night, it will be a cold day in hell before i ever pick it up again:p.
 
lol, farcry is NOT an easy 1000 points. It's in the PDZ club where you get a whole 10-20 points for completing the game. You should have checked the achievements before buying it :)
 
I played FarCry on the PC a lot a few years ago - excellent game.

I checked the demo out on the 360 a few months ago now and thought it was the biggest pile of crud.
