Far Cry 4 due this November

Currently downloading the game from Ubi's servers instead of installing from DVD like last time to see if that resolves the issue as I imagine it'll download pre-patched, thank god I have quick internet :D

Just in case the download doesn't include the patch then try loading the game without as I mentioned above, it ran very well for me before they issued the first patch but adding them made little difference as I wasn't getting crashes or lock ups in the first place, mine is the DVD version
 
Downloaded the game again and this time it didn't give the option to patch, now when I launch the game I just get a non-responsive black screen :mad:

Edit: Seems that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't :confused:
 
Meh, got to the North section of the map and performance is terrible now. A lot of stutter and drops in FPS.

Got the Bushman signature weapon tho, love it. Nice reward for all that arena grinding needed to get it.
 
All fixed on mine now. Uninstalled drivers with driver cleaner and put newest ATI beta drivers on, getting between 50-60FPS permanently now on high preset with ultra textures.

3GB 7950, 12GB RAM and i5 2500k so not the best setup in the world either :)
 
Hmmm struggling with this game. Only just got it tri Titans and a gsync monitor 144hz has problems frame drops, stuttering feels like there a weird haze around trees.
On one card seems smoother. Hopefully improved updates soon quiet disappointed tbh.

It's a stuttery mess for most people, The Ubi forums are awash with complaints and numerous threads.

The game is not a stuttery mess for me & runs beautifully on Ultra settings with a Q6600 & GTX980, it's obviously down to computer specs & it seems the higher the spec the more problems seem to occur which of course is not what you would expect
