Far Cry 6 - benchmark first run always better than rest

Hi .My pc:

I have 12900K stock

32 GB 2x16 GB DDR4 3600mhz

Palit Gamerock Pro OC rtx 4090

1300W Seasonic Platinum Prime

Aorus Elite DDR4 Z690

Windows 11 2H22. 528.02 drivers



Hi. I have an question. When i am running benchmark on Far Cry 6 my first run is always better than rest runs, my average fps is higher.Score is higher.Fps is better. I am gettin 10 fps less after second run.
Its not temps related,temps are ok. Also dont have any other programs in background.
My question is.Is this game related or system?

Also i ask someone with 13700K and Rtx 4090 and he dont have this issue. Hes fps is the same after 3 runs. Thx

Could possibly be hotspot on the gpu. The temp you see for gpu is the average of all sensors on the gpu die relating to the cores. The hotspot temp (reported in hwinfo) is the hottest of those sensors and usually sits around 10-20c higher than the average. For instance you could be getting 75c during benchmark but be getting 95c on the hotspot and that would be thermal throttling you as above 90c.
