Far Cry problem

Just got hold of a copy of this and have an installation problem with the dvd version

disk does not auto run

On navigating through the disk I find the setup file and upon running it I get
the following

"L:\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application

Any help appreciated.

What OS are u running?
DO you have any Copying SW or Drive emulation SW installed?
What is the make and model of your DVD player?

FC has some unfriendly Copy protection, it can detect stuff like CloneDVD and Alcohol120 and stop the disc from running. Also it can be an issueof incompatablity with some (Usually older) DVD drives. If the drive is the problem, flashing the FW with the latest version usually fixes it...
