Farcry 2 delayed

ubisoft are just as bad at after customer support in my opinion. it tells you in the OP's post. they are not delaying the game to improve it or to make sure its a good release. its so they can concentrate on casual gaming games and their financial report looks good.

personally since the SH4 fiasco ive vowed to stay away from them

Everyone is entitled to their view, but this is the only official comment I have seen on the delay by a member of the Dev Team.

Although moving the game’s release date back was a difficult thing to do, keep in mind that this decision will allow for the game to be even better. With the success of Assassin’s Creed, moving us out of this fiscal year to the next will inevitably result in a product with more features and content, less bugs, and a very high level of quality and polish.

I hate waiting for games too, but it happens, and we're usually better off for it! (although I'm not sure about Duke Nukem Forever...)

I'm not that bothered as I don't think it will be a great game. I don't see any variety in it yet. People might not like the alien/crygens sections of far cry and crysis respectively but they increased gameplay options. Fire seems to be the only good new thing in the game atm.
