Farcry 4 Hurry up !!

I love the grenade launcher. I don't normally like using them in games but in this it is just so much fun. Also I hated the first bow but the recurve bow with sight attached is so great for stealth kills. I one-shotted a heavy with it last night as a reaction shot (didn't know he was there) doing Noore's Fortress. Amazing weapon.

For me this is a bigger and better FC3 (though I liked Jason Brody more than Ajay) and I absolutely loved FC3. Still not completed the main story because the sandbox is so good and I get easily distracted!

Does anyone have a co-op key spare?
At mates tonight and we were going to have a play about later on it but he just rented it so doesn't have any.

I also asked for a co op key some pages back, but sadly no one was able to give one ... I was holding to use the a co op key to try the game out...

Hope someone helps you out..

Aye I didn't have much hope this long after launch was just on the off chance. We didn't really think this through. Was only going to be for drunken fun anyway - I already finished the game myself.

What's this co op key all about?

Looks like you need the Yak Pac for that gun, best gun i've found is the Buzzsaw the thing takes down anything with a couple of bursts even helicopters

Luckily the LE with yak farm pack came back in stock at game so that got ordered for Christmas.

I will have ALL my keys to give out for the PS4 as I'm not internet-connected at the moment. I'm unsure if someone can use them without me doing anything but I doubt it.

I will post up when Sky stop being crap and my internet comes back.

I've been playing all weekend with the HUD, map and alerts completely off (all interface settings set to off) and wow the game is a lot different this way. Obviously a lot harder too but far more organic. Being forced to use sound to know where things are allows me to know where people/animals are way before they see me (mostly they don't know where I am at all). In most situations I use the recurve bow, which will one shot headshot anything. Exploring the north now where there are a lot more patrols around the place. I must be just shy of 30 hours with this now and still loving it.

How in God's name do you find your way about the place? I have enough trouble with everything on. I invariably end up getting stuck on some stupid slope, one meter away from objective with no way of getting there but a huge trek around a mountain. It's even worse than FC3 for it.

There are roads or dirt tracks to just about everywhere you need to go to, but still...

This :p

I know, but half the fun is exploring off the tracks so I don't understand why they made it so easy to get stuck. Half the time it's the reason I end my session from frustration. It wouldn't be so bad if they made it obvious but all the terrain looks the same. I'll think 'yeah you can go up there' and end up sliding back down when I get halfway up.

Not really tried the chopper much yet, been far too occupied with GTA. Probably won't play this again until I can get the patches.

I do a lot of on-foot exploration also, never really had an instance of being stuck completely. There's normally a way to get to anywhere 50-100ft in any direction.

I somehow managed to get to a place there was literally no way out other than a fall = death. It was like a semi-circle with cliffs on the curved edge and a long fall to death on the straight. I explored every inch for an hour (between pauses to do other things) and no-go! :D

I love the game from what I've played, and part of the problem is my own doing since I can't get patches right now. I just wish they'd put in some mechanism to get up the slopes that you just slide down, as you usually can't tell what area it is until you get there.

On the other hand, I very much like the grappling. So much more involved than I thought it would be, and you can get a good swing going.
