Farcry 4 Hurry up !!

I really enjoyed the 3rd one, And this looks more of the same. Which in a way is a shame, but I don't suppose you can do that much with the FPS genre, other than improve visuals and add in a few missing mechanics.

It's the reason I don't really play the genre.

I'm guessing you don't think much of RTS games either then, you know.. basically the same thing over and over?

Same as adventure games actually if you think about it.. and every other genre really. How weird is that? :/

no hurry for me.

FC1 was by far the best one. not sure why FC3 got so much love when it was the same as FC2 in a different setting, which got slated!? anyway FC2 and FC3 were good games but nothing more , they both got very boring after a while. actually had more fun with multi in FC2 than FC3; however the intro scene to FC3 was really excellent. but neither FC2 or FC3 had the intensity that FC1 had.

my 2 cents

It was the respawning roadblocks that ****ed people off in 2. Personally I didn't mind that and had a ball with the game. Some great missions in there. FC1 was great at the time not sure how it would hold up now. I'm playing 3 again now (PS3 PS+) and loving every minute of it. It's a little bit choppy compared to the 360 version but I'm still having fun - maybe I am noticing it more now that I am used to framerates on the PS4. Stealth takedowns are still epic in this game.

Can't wait, this is the first game I've ever bought that is a "collectors edition" with a fancy box, statue etc. :D

For an extra £20 or so it seemed daft not to for the physical, and I assume the game that comes with it is still the "standard" edition that can be resold on it's own?
