Farcry addons?

i have a strange urge to play Farcry
haven't played it since a couple of months after it came out so i'm a bit behind with info for it.

managed to get an x800xt pe since i last played it so i'm looking for a visual treat. i'm pretty sure there was some improved gfx patched or something comming out back then, was that just for 64bit cpu's? and are they bundled with the official patches?

also any nice single player addons / mods / cool things to download?

I was excited ages ago when i heard there was an add on pack in the works for FarCry, but i think they have scrapped it to work on Crysis . It was even up for pre order on a certain game retailer.
