FarCry help!

Its a while since ive played this but is this the bit where a new level loads?

Cant think what killed you, unless you burst your dinghy on a rock or something
 
I haven't played it for a while but the boat level you have just done. Is that the level in which you make your way too the top deck, kill everyone and destroy the helicopter and make your way too the rubber dinghy?

I think you basically just head East in the boat. As your heading East the level ends and you begin the next level.
 
Shoot the chains so the boat drops in the water. Get in the boat and drive it East, the next level laods automatically.
 
The nest level isn't finishing properly. It should phase out to black and then move onto the next level. I've never even been able to reach those two large rocks that you go through. Also, you die because you've gone too far out. At any point in Farcry, if you try to sail out far then you will be killed automatically.

For the level to change you need to have triggered the cut scene in the first room on your left on the top indoor level in the carrier. It is the one with a guy on the radio. After you kill him go inside and look at vals camera and passport etc. After that you just need to get the boat as before.

What probably happend is the game has auto killzones in the maps if you wander tooooo far of the correct path. Sometimes you jsut instantly die.
Another time you may be pursued by an indestructable chopper...

Yeh, i remember running away from one of those choppers and thinking 'WTF?! WHY WON'T IT DIE?!' lol

Vegeta, if you have done what CuZ said and haven't killed the guy in the ship, then how did you get to the boat?
 
Hi, yeah I seen that scene where he kills someone and talks to the guy on the phone, any other cut scenes I should have scene?
 
I just got FarCry and did that level a few days ago. I diddent get anyware near thos rocks it just went to the next level.

Try reinstalling the game that might help

You havent installed a Coop mod have you?
 
Sorry to hijack, but ive started playing this again and got it patched up to the beta 1.34 so i can have the HDR on etc... but while playing ive noticed ive got infinite ammo, how the hell can i turn that off, i want to play it properly. :confused:

EDIT: Tis ok i sorted it, i looked up some cheats and one of them was to edit the Scripts file in the FCData folder, i then remembered when i got the Beta 1.34 there was also a scripst file in there which i copied over, as i thought i needed to copy it over as well to get the HDR working, turns out that was edited for the infinite ammo, so ive just copied the original one back across and voila, no more infinite ammo, it now runs out YAY, and that scripts file wasn't needed for the HDR as its still on, right i can play it proper again now. :cool:

I had this problem when I first played it, I think I re did the level and it worked.
 
The HDR's crap, when your on the carrier, or in the tunnel under the satelite dish etc.. the walls flash with big white rectangles as the HDR busts through from the outside, not impressed at all. :(

Yeah I get exactly the same inside, outside it looks nice, although enemies far away are really dark and hard to see.
 
I've had the issue of levels not ending before.

For me it was down to the Coop mod being installed. I re-installed the game and loaded up the save and all was well again.

If its not the coop mod perhaps its a different mod thats affecting you game?
