Only played one far cry game and it's not really my sort of game, but the thought of it in vr sounds good.

Looks cool, can absolutely understand the appeal, but a game made for 30 minute sessions (since that's how long you have the play space for) isn't what I thought it was going to be.

It's actually entirely possible to do this sort of experience with the Quest. When Oculus first showed the Quest they had a Dead and Buried arena with 3 on 3 combat. There's also Space Pirate Arena which was shown some time ago.
I can see people hiring out sports halls to play these sorts of games with their mates in the future.
