no demo, there are no levels as such as it streams textures as you move along because its so massive so it's not possible to do a demo

It is, they just won't bother. They manage demo's for open world games like Burnout Paradise and Saints Row. Just need to have some invisible walls containing you in a specific area.

This is what I was going to suggest. Looks like I'll be "trying before buying" with no demo.

Definately gonna wait till I read some reasuring reviews about the game before I pick it up.

Open world games have been a big hit or miss for me lately, usually falling more on the miss side.

TBH if the performance is there the engine looks better than crytec crysis engine , the lighting etc looks amazing!
