Following having our extension rendered its become obvious that when it rains, water is tracking down a section of the fascia and running down the wall. This isn't a leak anywhere, just rainwater dribbling off the front of the fascia and running down the wall. There is no overhang and the bottom lip of the fascia is flush to the wall, so its no surprise this is happening.

Its a single storey extension with a pitched roof, so this is only occurring at the diagonal fascia on one side. (Hopefully that makes sense).
I plan to replace the fascia boards eventually, but wondered if there is anything I can do in the short term to keep the water off the wall?
I was thinking of installing a strip of PVC on the bottom edge of the fascia, slightly wider than the fascia, to create a small overhang.
Does anything like this exist, or do I need to be creative?

Presumably its just a case of nudging a few in to push the bottom of the fascia out?
A very neat idea :)
