Fast 1440P Monitor for Gaming and Video Editing?

As title, I'm looking for recommendations for a 1440P monitor that will be used for gaming (so I'd prefer 120Hz refresh rate at least, adaptive sync etc), and video editing (reasonably good colour). If there's anything that fits the bill at 32", fantastic. If the better quality panels are still only to be found at 27", then fair enough, I'll go for the smaller screen. Budget is negotiable, but I definitely won't be spending 4 figures.

msi mag274qrf-qd is exceptionally good monitor for gaming and video editing because of speed and wide color gamut,and monitor has one of the best contrast for IPS panel, top range, hardwareunboxed highly recommended it in their review, and monitor recently got srgb mode from firmware, the only minus it got from HU review is fixed.

While 27" size is extremely competed, 32" selection is somewhat sparse and feeling like makers don't try their best.
For example Asus PG329Q has very good response times and very wide gamut, but contrast is again below average.

Yeah, it's looking like it would be better to stick with 27". Maybe there will be new/better 32" options shown at CES in January?
 
Most push at CES is likely for 4K after this year's paper announcements and slow response time fiascos.
But no doubt there's going to be also 2560x1440 models.
 
I think mini led FALD 2560x1440 would be main focus next year, we got first 2k mini led fald model last month, and other brands will have to follow it. 2k resolution is too much abandoned, every new tech is integrated in 4k models so there is so much room for 2k monitors. I'm also planning to buy new monitor so i will wait next year for 2k mini led hdr1000 model.

i Doubt AOC will be only one with 2k mini led FALD display, someone needed to offer that model first, and others will follow. Despite high prices many people are willing to pay for model with that specification, monitors are like TV for manys, i use it for everything so price isn't problem.

With Innolux as only maker of that one single 2560x1440 FALD panel availability is going to be limited for who knows how long.
Especially in current Covid situation.

And 4K monitors capable to doubling for use in 4K video watching are even cheaper than that AOC.
In that situation don't see monitor makers exactly rushing to make such expensive 2560x1440 monitors.

I’ve just got one,no problems at all.No dead pixels,I updated it with the latest firmware,then took time to get it setup and it looks great.
Coming from a Benq xl 2730z,the response times feel good.
I can’t fault it.
