Fast ddr4 for a MSI 570 Carbon wifi with ryzen 9 5800x3d

I would like some fast ram for the above board. MSI say 4000mhz, do you think I need to update the bios? and what 64 gig kit should I get?

Wouldn't bother the performance isn't worth it and if you run 4 sticks it can be hard to achieve .

3200mhz to 3600mhz is a safe bet .

I do combat flight sims in VR and have asked on the Il-2 Great Battles and DCS for advice. My first thought was go from r9 5900x to r7 7800x3d, possible used 4090 with faster memory. After seeking help to make my mind up I am now going AM5 r7 9800x3d 6000mhz memory and an nv5080 for about the same cost.
