Me? I prefer an independent take away or if I'm in a certain branch of Tesco I, if I can, get a couple of bags of hot chicken pieces to go or some from the cooked meat section.
What about you lot?

Just LOL if you aren’t cooking Michelin star meals on a gas stove in the car park on your 20 minute timed lunch break.

I don't go anywhere unless the food is prepared by authentic ethnic people who understand their own cuisine and refuse to accept poor quality ingredients hidden beneath fancy sauces to try and make it different... and you'll only find that in certain parts of London!!! :D

I like them all. Big fan of cold meats. Hams, salami, mortadella, pastrami, absolutely love them. My family find it bizarre that I’ll just eat a plate of cold meats. They think it’s weird not eating them in a sandwich.

Independent restaurants/take aways always win for me.

Obviously fast food has it's place and I'd be a liar if I said I'm not partial to a McDonalds, KFC or Burger King occasionally. But we have lots of good independent alternatives that are much nicer

You couldn't pay me to eat at KFC or Burger King horrible and dirty places. At least Mac D try to keep it clean.

Independents I just do not want to see the kitchen....

I have cold meats with salad. Can also rip a pack of decent cooked/cured meats and eat them alone

Genuinely struggling to interpret this post as tongue in cheek or genuine.

The guy is one big gimmick so I would say that was a genuine post.

Me personally? The more generic and pattern-food the better. In my "to go" I want consistency and low cost.

That's OK, just means there is more for me :p

When I think about it, there aren't many chains I visit outside of KFC, McD's and BK. I guess you can toss Greggs into the mix too.

But really, I'm spoilt for choice when it comes to food options here. My favourite cuisines (Asian/Jamaican mostly) tend not to have chains worth visiting and I opt for the smaller independent places. Wok-to-Walk is great though. I seem to be eating a lot of wraps at the moment. I think it was @Russinating that recommended Biblos to me and I can't get enough of them. Delicious.

Read the GDK thread in the food section
I read the first exchange got incredibly bored and gave up :p

In answer to the OP: I like all of them. I love KFC, I like kebabs from local independents, I love the big cumberland sausages from tesco hot cupboards.

If it tastes good I'll eat it, not bothered about eating at big chains.

Independent. Back in the day it used to be either a couple of spit-roasted chicken and stuffing baps from The Womble Inn. Spit roasted chicken is my Kryptonite.
