Fast large phone without curved screen

Any suggestions?

Had an ip 4 then note 3 then 5 (all survived with no scratches or cracks over maybe a total of 7 years) now I'm stuck with a s8+

After less than 10 months I hate the curved screen it's hard to press items on the edge, screen has many scratches, I was never able to get a screen protector that did not fall off, its been dropped mutiple times cracked corners scratched screen.

Personally sticking with my Note 4 - don't like a lot of the fads with newer phones especially the curved/bevelled/edged/notched screen stuff at all - don't care if they make models that have it but not liking that it is replacing other options like a plain old screen in too many cases.

I would still be using my note 4 but it caught go slower and slower itus then became unusable
