Fast paced FPS or Racer required for new PC!!!

I quite like BF3 single player, it is not as good as Bad Company single player on the PC but it does look nice, which is your aim graphics wise I think.

For the fast paced shooter it has to be Serious Sam 3.

To show off your new GPU Id say Crysis 2. If youre into modding the games then look up Blackfires Mod 2 for Crysis 2. That will test your GPU a bit and it looks amazing - http://www.crydev.net/viewtopic.php?f=308&t=71027

As for driving games, theres Shift 2, it looks nice but its car physics are rubbish, I think there are some mods out there to change it though.
 
SS3 is seriously hectic and fast paced (especially when faced with a horde of of bomber dudes running at you!)

agreed. it might be in development, but its a stunner. its the first game where i have mistaken screenshots for photos multiple times. physics are pretty good too.
