Fast & secure modes?

Is it possible to have profiles in Windows? Avast seems to slow the system down, so I would like to have it disabled in a profile during gaming, and enabled when browsing.

Or maybe have two usernames, with different profiles?

Two usernames would be too much hassle I think. Why not try using batch scripts to disable the services/programs that are taking up RAM when you play?

And then have another batch script that would restart all the tasks when you finish gaming.
