I can't find any reviews of nvidia fast sync. There are plenty of pascal reviews which include high level overviews e.g. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2016/06/15/evga-geforce-gtx-1080-ftw-review/7, but not any real in-depth reviews of this feature... can anyone help ?

Fast Sync - reviews?

Have you enabled gsync but set vsync to off in the NVCP? I own a gsync monitor and play with vsync on to ensure that the refresh rate doesnt exceed the monitor refresh rate. The only way fast sync will work is if the rendered frames exceed the monitors refresh rate. Gsync will kick in when < max monitor refresh rate.
what is the input lag like compared to no gsync and vsync off - the amount will be noticeable in fps games for comparison if you wanted to test it
