Faster payment ID (FPID) question... (any bank workers?)

Hi

Is it possible to ascertain the senders sort code and account number from the recipients FPID?

Best I could find is;

Which gives an illustration, not accepted practice.

Can anyone confirm if this is possible?

I'm sure its poaabile, but the bank are unlikely to reveal this for privacy reasons.

I don't think so. The FP reference number is usually made up of a load of zero's and a small numerical number, which goes up by one each payment they send.
