Dependss which way round you have it, your fix is saying Azureus is 'more than' utorrent.

Azureus > utorrent (Azureus better)
Azureus < utorrent (utorrent better)
utorrent > Azureus (utorrent better)
utorrent < Azureus (Azureus better)
 
client will affect your downloading but if you don't have the seeders uploading fast then you aren't going to get a fast download.

Check firewall ports in utorrent and your router. Utorrent has a checker which runs on 1st start up of the app which lets you set uploads limits and test the port utorrent will be using. if all comes back good then your sorted. speed will then depends on your ISP, ISP traffic and seeders of the file.

Transpoort encryption, can be found under the options somewhere. Should really only come into play if your ISP enforces traffic shaping.
