faster transfer speeds possible?

Hi

I currently transfer at about 85mb/s to my Nas from my PC.

Synology DS214+ contains WD Red 2TB 5400rpm SATA 6Gb/s + WD Red 1TB 5400rpm SATA 6Gb/s in raid 0(i think, drivers merged as 1 drive) connected via cat 6 to RT-N66U

PC - raid 0 2 x Samsung Evo SSD connected via cat6 to RT-N66U.

Everything is gigabit with cat 6 connecting it.

Should i be getting faster transfer speeds?
 
I tend to max out gigabit Ethernet but it depends on what kind of drives you're using, how full they are, what kind of transfer you're doing, etc. Assuming you mean 85 MB/s (see, capitalisation is important!) then you're close to the limit of gigabit Ethernet (~115 MB/s).
