Fastest 4Gigs @800 ??

I'm looking at the best possible timings @800 (832) and need 4 gigs. The Corsair 6400c3df has been suggested but does not seem to be available locally.

The Dominator PC2-9136C5 TwinX is cheaper than the PC2-8888C4 TwinX...Can the cheaper 9136c5 match the 8888c4 timings at 1111 ?.

I ask as I presume it would hence also give better timings at 800.....I know I may need to relax timings a little with four sticks instead of two.

Any other suggestions for 4G of fast ram @800 would be appreciated.

The Corsair 4GB Dominator (2x2GB) that was here is pants, I got regged too late to heed warning, it wont clock 20-30mhz more or even run stock with 1T, I got rid of it and got better Corsair 2GB kit.

and also pretty impossible to get hold of. No where int he UK stocks them as far as i can find and the places that stock them in the USA wont ship them internationaly. the only option i could find was to go down the auction route where there are some avaialbe but then its just a lottery to see if you get done on tax.

with this entire forum dedicated to overclockers its odd that the shop doesnt sell what is arguably some of the best memory going.

I have two kits. Shipped from USA, clocks really well at tight timings.

I went for the Mushkin XP2 its 800 and 4-3-3-10 timmings, amazing memory. I had no problems getting hold of it.

Ok big problems

Imy rig wont boot with the 4 sticks of dominator fitted, i get 3 long beeps and thats it. Take 1 out and it boots fine??

Ive checked every stick individually and they are all ok so whats going on ????

Please help

Mobo is an Intel 975XBX2 cpu e6600 and 4x1gb of corsair dominator 4/4/4/12

You might have to go into your bios and set the voltage higher before it will boot properly.

How do i know if im running them @ T2 ??

Check your bios or CPUZ will tell you.

Still no boot though all i get with 4 sticks is 3 beeps which means no memory???

try running memtest on each stick individually, ones probably faulty.

Ive tried every stick in every combo and they work fine, soon as the 4th stick goes in it aint happening.

Managed to get 3GB to run in dual channel (according to CPU-Z), man something weird is going on here big time.

Dont know how i managed it with 3 sticks but here's the cpu-z to prove it
