Fastest AM3 CPU?

Hi there! I have an AMD X2 6000+, a Gigabyte MA770 UD3 mobo, 3 Gb of DDR2 RAM and a Nvidia 275GTX. Thinking about changing the CPU
1} Which is the fastest Cpu i can have? Phenom 965? Any other coming soon worth waiting for?
2} Do you think the CPU bottlenecks the system? Will i see any REAL, NOTICABLE performance difference? Cpu depended games (like Mass Effect 1) run a bit laggy @ 1680*1050 (in comparison to ME2 which runs perfect)

I have Win XP 32bit and the hard disc is a Seagate 750Gb.
So, do i wait for the new 6 core CPU's?
Will they fit in AM3 mobo's?
Most important, will they be NOTICABLE increase in performance ?
