so which is fastest and usable linux distro?

i tried lubuntu, its too heavy and slow.

On my dell Mini 10, I used to run Elementary OS.

I always found it to be quite user friendly, taking aspects from OSX with a dock.

Not the lightest/fastest, but ran ok on Atom/2GB/60GB SSD

I know this is old topic now, figured I'd share an input for anyone else scrolling through the pages like me, but the lightest Linux I've used so far that wasn't so basic and just cmd based is zorin 09' I only use lite or education version as they free off their download page, but very simply to use, education has some nice included programs and some cool packages can be installed also and nit heavy on hardware.

In the early use of zorin 09(early last year or 2015 some tine) I installed it in a very old P3 desktop with whatever it's graphics chip was And had either 256/368/512mb ram(it was given to me free and was faffing with computers has a hobby back then)as Windows 7 32 home installed, but graphics was shocking, zorin seemed to work wonders on it, but I'm a Windows man do never done to much with Linux.
