Fastest low profile card out?

I think the most powerful low profile cards are still either the R7 250 from AMD or the GT730 from nvidia. I don't think OcUK stock either in a low profile option though unfortunately.

EDIT: The Geforce GT930 (and GT940) *Might* be launching on 1st Sept from what I can find, and likely that will have a LP option, and might offer slightly better performance

The A4-5000 is a Jaguar based CPU,which is basically the AMD equivalent of Atom and the same core used in the consoles.

He might be CPU limited with a GTX750TI - what games is he going to run??
 
I've shared my steam Libary with him..he tried to run ARK but I had to run 640 x 480 lol

I think he will be happy with 720p tbh... at medium settings..

He downloaded Lost Coast and it ran OK until things got busy when you put the Lamp thingy into the machine.
 
I've read up a bit and apparently AMD's apu dual graphics does not work that reliably so you probably would be better of with something like a secondhand 750 or ti. A couple of years ago I had a very small sized HD5570 which was a great little card and ran things fine on a 1600 x 900 monitor as long as you don't insist on max settings. I used it for ages with the 3 Stalker games and visual mods and it did a good job, I imagine they would be dirt cheap if you can find one.

ARK is meant to be somewhat poorly optimised - whats the model number of the system??

Its quite an intensive game:
