Fastest MMO leveling ever?

Back when I used to do a bit of WoW-ing, I spent most of my time on very new servers. We could all see exactly who was getting to 60 first, and from experience it normally took those maniacs close to three days.

I would almost claim it was impossible. But I've been 'cured' of the WoW disease for a long, long time, so have no idea how easy it is to ding 60 now. :)
 
I don't play the game, but have read in PC Gamer recently that a recent update has made levelling to 60 a lot easier. So guess its easier than you are used to.
 
He hasn't done that on his own, put it that way. He'll have had a full group supporting him the entire way. Still not sure how he did it that quick tho.
 
Well i would guess that the simply summoned the lvl1 player in a lvl70 zone. Lets say 4 lvl70 of his mate are there. He simply tags the mob and the the other 4 players kill the mobs he tags and since the other players are not in his group he gets all the xp. :)
 
Indeed, a prot paladin can stack certain avoidance / mitigation gear (mostly block) to get over 100% combined against lvl65 and under mobs, meaning complete immunity to physical damage. Therefore a single paladin can solo and boost upto 4 people upto that level. From there on I guess he just tags along with a regular group farming something or other.

I don't think it should be underestimated however how many instance runs that involves, doing that and not clawing your own central cortex out with your keyboard through boredom is a feat in itself.
 
I wish I could continue to level on wow without boring myself to death, Im at 19 and without help the amount of running around and dying is doing my head in, if someones bored and wants to level my char...:p ;)
 
thats stupidly quick, its taken me 5 weeks to get to level 45, although i started a n00b which probably didnt help lol

that will also explain how he leveled up so quick, would have taken a lot longer if he solo'd everything he could. still pretty impressive though and explains how people can sell leveling 1-60 and 60-70 for $69.
